Counselling & Psychotherapy
As we all have different goals for therapy, counselling sessions can either be short-term or long-term depending on your needs. The sessions are 50 minutes long and I only offer individual therapy at this moment. Due to COVID-19, I am only holding sessions online or over telephone. Each therapist is different and works in a unique way, meaning it is very important to make sure that I am the right fit for you.
20 minute initial consultation
I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation where you can ask me questions and we can explore what issues you would like to work through.
50 minute online / telephone weekly session
Sessions will be held either by online video through Zoom or by phone call. Both mediums are secure and the day/time is agreed.
50 minute face-to-face weekly session
Face-to-face sessions are now available in Stenson, Derbyshire. After a telephone consultation, we will agree a day and time for therapy. Free parking is available.
In order to make counselling more accessible, I offer a limited number concession rates slots which can be discussed in the initial consultation. I also offer a discounted rate for block bookings.
Payment is to be made at least 48 hours in advance to your session by bank transfer. If the fees have not been paid, the session will not go ahead. The session fees are reviewed frequently and may be subject to an increase. You will receive at least 4 weeks notice for any fee changes.
I ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange sessions. If notice has been given, you will not be charged for the session.
If you cancel within the 48 hours notice period, the full fee is charged. This notice is also in place for cancellations due to the weather. If the session was meant to be held face-to-face and either person can not attend the session in person, the session will be moved to online or telephone means.
I understand that there may be times when the session will need to be cancelled due to extenuating circumstances. Sessions fees and rearranging of the session will be discussed on a person-by person basis.
